The people of Brunswick, Maine are constantly under the watchful eye of an anonymous gossip blogger allegedly named The Snitch. This blogger is ruthless and won’t rest until every single secret is exposed. No one knows why The Snitch has beef with the town. Hell, no one even knows the gender, but everyone has their own theories about who The Snitch could possibly be. The Snitch attacks in the form of texts, e-mails, instant messages, letters, notes, and sometimes writing on random objects. No one wants to report the instances to the police. Doing so means revealing a dark, tucked away figment of the past, and for obvious reasons, no one is keen on entangling themselves into an investigation to catch what seems to be a clever, untraceable bully. Each day, The Snitch progressively grows stronger with an even larger audience than the last, and, aided by loyal followers, he/she will continue to be empowered until the job is done. Below, you'll find information about the way The Snitch will be in touch with your characters. This is pretty important! These methods are meant to heat up the drama around the site, but you can also use it as an opportunity to create plots. If you character receives a troubling note, they're not going to simply forget about it. The very idea that some stranger knows a dark secret is troubling! It would be unrealistic if your character received a note and shrugged it off.

Texting is probably the most common and also most convenient form of communication. Each character must post a cell phone thread in the Cellular Device board labeled FIRST LAST in caps. If The Snitch spots an opportunity to harass your character, your character will receive a reply in that thread. Check them often!

The Snitch is omniscient and manages to leave little surprises for targets ahead of time. During a thread session, you might be interrupted by a little surprise. The Snitch has thrown rocks into windows with notes attached, left messages inside delivery boxes, and written messages on objects. It's all random, so make be on your toes at all times.

Sometimes The Snitch can't deliver all the threats that need to be distributed on time. With that being said, a surprise might be in your character's future. Notes might be left in textbooks, backpacks, pockets, anything! When the notes are posted, The Snitch will specify where your character will find the note.

Every couple weeks, The Snitch will choose to share scandals. This is the method used in order to "punish" or "expose" the actions of those who "deserve" to be humiliated. Common topics are infidelity, bitch fights, family drama, or games meant to involve victims.

Eventually, The Snitch will become more forceful with everyone. I'll let you know when these will begin. Basically, plots centered around death or injuries will play key roles. For example, arson, car accidents, murder, and things like that will come up. These events will have a limited amount of slots and will be on a voluntary or canon basis.
