He’s definitely not known for being the brightest bulb in the box. He isn’t known for being generous or caring about anyone but himself. With Collin the only person that he really cares about is Collin. He doesn’t care if your grandma died and he doesn’t care if your best friend is having sex with your boyfriend. He takes and gives heart to the statement “me, myself, and I” because that’s basically where his worries and cares both begin and end. Collin is an arrogant guy. No one else is better than him, he’s god’s gift to the world and he doesn’t care if you disagree. That’s the principle. If you wanna hang around Collin, you can’t question him, you can’t say that that you’re better than him, and you can’t tell him he’s wrong because he’s not afraid to turn around and punch you in the face if that’s what it takes for you to shut up. Because in Collin’s eyes, he’s never wrong and he’s so much better than you. His ego is big and his pride is bigger. Okay so arrogant or not, there is one thing that can bring him to his knees in seconds. And that is the ladies. Collin is a major ladies man. If there is a pretty lady in the room he will find her in seconds and he will flirt with her. Not that Collin is into finding love and all that gooey stuff. He doesn’t really give a crap about love. He’s in it for the love of the game, for all the fun that it is and for all the thrill of waking up next to a girl he doesn’t know all that well and leaving her without a single word. For him, it’s a game. Whatever happens afterwards, he doesn’t care. He’s just into it for one night. Collin isn’t known for being smart and he has no intentions of going college and this in part is because he doesn’t have the money to go. He plays it off though, ignoring his past and everything he’s known for. Okay this is starting to sound really bad so I’m gonna like transfer to his history. Collin Asher Birkley was born in a ghetto in LA, he never knew his father and to be honest he probably preferred it that way. His mom was a good mom, doing the best she could to provide for her only son and she worked long hard hours. So as a baby, Collin spent a lot of time at his mom’s friend’s house. Not that he cared as a child, since he was cared for. Collin grew into a pretty good child. And too his mother, he was the perfect child. His best friend was there and they were close buds. His mom loved him and life was good. In school, Collin seemed to have the upperhand. Even as a toddler, he had a certain charm about him that was irresistible. His best friend Tyler was his wingman. All during elementary school, they were good kids. They managed to stay out of trouble. And really Collin was a great kid until he hit high school and puberty kicked in. Suddenly girls were the shit and that was all that mattered. Well and Tyler. So that was his high school career, bouncing from girl to girl and hanging with Tyler and barely scrapping by with c’s. until he met Diamond. She changed everything. Suddenly he wasn’t looking at all the other girls in the hallway, just her. They were a thing, that much was obvious. He didn’t want anybody else. He was positive that he loved her. They went to all the parties together. However after the high school graduation party, they were caught in her bedroom by her parents. Her parents forced her to press rape charges against him. Collin was found innocent but fled to Brunswick to escape the humiliation. He lived there for two years. He took a bartending job and now tries to forget his past, while continuing in his old ways as an attempt to forget about diamond.
