Reggie has a total of ten nieces and nephews, but Rafi is the oldest, and her favorite. She was a teenager when he was born, so she's always been the young, cool aunt. They're very close, texting and calling each other almost every day. He's the son of her half-brother, Mattie, who she isn't very close to, but her relationship with her brother has no bearing on their relationship. I'd like for him to look up to her, maybe to even be an aspiring artist because of her influence? Important details for Rafi: He didn't grow up in a conventional family. At all. Basically, Reggie's brother, Mattie, hooked up with a couple, Sandra and Isiah, and they became a trio. (All three of them are together, as both Mattie and Isiah are bisexual.) Three years later, Sandra got pregnant, and Rafi was born. Until he was born, they had no idea whether Mattie or Isiah was the father, but they decided it didn't matter. Both of them would raise him as their son, and so they always have. (As a note, Isiah is his biological father, which was obvious when he was born because he looks just like him.) Despite the unconventional parenthood, his childhood was rather normal. I imagine he learned very quickly which parent to go to for what, because they all have very different parenting styles. Mattie is the soft-spoken, gentle parent, always ready to do whatever he can to make his son happy. Isiah is the fun, yet stern parent, prone to letting his son get away with trouble as long as it isn't serious. Sandra is the strict, 'mean' parent, the one that lays down the law and will fight with her son if it's the only way to get him to listen. (Honestly, I have a whole lot of stuff in my head just about his parents, so if you want more details, just let me know.) Overall, he's had a pretty easy life. Six years ago, Reggie's twin brother, Ryan, died, and I imagine that hit Rafi almost as hard as it hit her. Since his death, she's been depressed, and the whole family has been worried about her. I'd like for Rafi to use that to convince his parents that living with Reggie could be a good thing. His personality is mostly open, as long as he's not a total douche. (A little bit of doucheyness could be fun, though.) I'd like Zayn Malik for his playby, but it can be changed if necessary. For his name, I've been calling him Rafi, but that can also be changed. His surname is open, but I think it'd be hyphenated with his parents last names, so Carroll-Something, or Something-Carroll. She does need to have a doctorate, but what it is for is open. Reggie mentioned that she has a somewhat conservative family, so I doubt they approve of their daughter being a lesbian. Her playby is open, but I was picturing someone like Marion Cotillard. Personality and history are mostly open, as long as it lines up with Reggie's. She needs to be from Montreal, Canada, but lived in Toronto for at least 9 years. Her reasons for coming back into Reggie's life are open, but I'd like for them to include reconciliation. (Which Reggie will both love and hate, because she doesn't want to admit it, but she's not over Cassie at all.)
