He's from Scotland, but masks his accent most of the time to avoid being asked about it. He is an author, of nine published books so far, though he's not a best seller yet. Recently, he and his wife moved to Brunswick to start a family, though he's had some difficulties come up. Anyways, obviously, Cash is going to need some friends. He's kind of a huge dork, so friends of his should definitely be nerdy. When he's not being a nerd, he likes to play rugby, so he could have some friends from that. And, of course, he'll need drinking buddies! He's actually pretty easy going, so all ideas are welcome here. As for enemies, I'm not sure how many he'll have. He tends to be a pretty friendly guy, so unless someone is an absolute ass to him, he's good. All ideas are welcome here, though. (Maybe someone who thinks he is a terrible writer and wants to make sure he knows that?) Finally, lovers just aren't going to happen for Cash right now. He's happily married, and wouldn't ever cheat on his wife. So, for now, this is closed! She was born and raised in Brunswick, but for the past six years, has been living in Seoul, South Korea. She is a K-Pop idol, and a rather popular one at that. So, what brings her back to Brunswick if things were so great for her in Seoul? It's actually pretty simple. Like many teenage girls, she got swept up in romance, and ended up pregnant. Of course, nobody outside of her family and her agent knows that yet, though. Being new to town, in a way, she's going to need some friends. Ages won't matter, she just wants people who she can have fun with and will be nice to her! That is literally her only requirement. As long as your character won't feel weird hanging out with a pregnant teenager, they can be friends. When it comes to enemies, I'm sure she'll have a couple. She tries to be nice to everyone, but if someone is mean to her, she's not going to just take it. Judgment for her pregnancy, harassment over her K-pop career, or insulting her or a friend of hers are all quick ways to make an enemy of her. For now, lovers for Chelsea is a little complicated. She's just had her baby, and broke up with her baby daddy, so she's totally heartbroken. Right now, she's desperate for someone to love her, so she's vulnerable to being manipulated. Honestly, she needs to step back for a bit, but she doesn't realize that. Hopefully it won't take breaking her heart again to make that happen. (If you want to break her heart, though, I'm all for it.) She's seventeen, a senior in high school, and works as a Mother's Helper to earn money to put away for college. She's got a half dozen younger siblings, and is the primary caretaker for them, so stress runs a little high for her, but she keeps it together. Nell, as busy as she tends to be, is going to need some friends. In fact, she'll really need them, because without some friends to keep her grounded, she'll work herself into the ground. Friends of hers can be pretty much anyone! She doesn't discriminate. All she cares about is that you're nice to her, her siblings, and her other friends! Any friends can expect to be bombarded with baked goods, a designated driver whenever needed, and a slightly-overbearing big sister figure (whether or not she's older than the person in question). She loves her friends a lot, and considers them to be family as well, once they've reached a certain point. Now to the enemies! I am sure Nell is going to have at least a few of these. More than a few, in fact. There are undoubtedly going to be people who have made their way onto her enemy list by bothering one of her friends or younger siblings, or people who have made snide comments about the small age gaps between her and her siblings. She's got a temper, though it mostly comes out in glares and subtle insults. (You hurt her family, though, and she'll turn into a mother bear.) Finally, we've got the lovers. Since her boyfriend recently left for college, she is now single. As she was the result of a teen pregnancy, Nell is incredibly hesitant about sex, and hasn't even had a serious makeout. At this point, she doesn't care to, wanting to have an established career and stable lifestyle before risking having children. (Which is what she views sex as.) So, anything romantic will have to be entirely chaste, or taken at a snails pace to get her to open up to the idea. That could be a ton of fun, though, so suggest any ideas you may have! TEMPLATE BY LITTLE BITTY PRETTY ONE @ CAUTION 2.0 ellen victoria stern 22, maid, dating a guy twice her age, single mom, double majoring, tougher than she looks This is Ellen Victoria Stern, but most people just know her as Eevee. She's 22, and double majoring in Journalism and Women's Studies, but when she's not studying, she's raising a daughter (mostly) by herself, or working as a maid for the Hauswirth family. Life has been pretty complicated for her, but it's made her tough, she thinks. Being tough doesn't mean she won't need friends, of course! Eevee is very friendly, but can be hard to get close to. As a kid, she didn't have many close friends, so she'll need one or two in Brunswick. For the most part, she just wants people she can relax around. Friends for Eevee need to be able to understand that they can't always ask too many questions, and that if she asks them to back off, they really need to. Only her closest friends will get to hear details about her past, possibly even only her best friend knowing everything. Now, I don't know how many enemies she'll have, but I'm sure there will be some. Eevee tries to be as kind and easygoing as possible, but she's stubborn and doesn't back down from confrontation. If there is an injustice that she's witness to, she'll pursue it until it's righted, particularly if it has something to do with someone's rights. She can be kind of outspoken and opinionated, so I'm sure there will be some people who don't like that. (Or, of course, someone who has found out about her past and hates her for that.) All ideas here are welcome! As for lovers, I don't know how open this will be. At the moment, Eevee does have a boyfriend, her boss, Mr. Hauswirth. However, that may not last, so future things are always possible! There's also past relationships, because prior to having her daughter, she did sleep around a bit. Honestly, anything could happen! (If someone wants to be her anonymous baby daddy, that could always be fun! Her daughter is 18 months old, so any one-night-stand a little over two years ago could work. :3 She doesn't know who the father is, but maybe someone else does.) She's an artist, and owner of the White Rabbit Gallery, which hosts her own art, as well as art from various local artisans she works with. For the past six years, she's been in a deep depression, after the death of her twin brother. Most people don't know this, though, and just see her as an eccentric artist who moved to Brunswick about four years ago. Despite her issues, Reggie is going to need some friends. For her, friends will need to be able to put up with a lot of crap. She forgets plans often, getting caught up in work and not realizing she's running late until someone calls her to remind her. However, she's endlessly loyal to her friends, and will do anything for them, whether it's giving them a place to crash for a few nights, or getting into a fight for them. She's not easy to get close to, but once you're there, it's hard to get away. On the other hand, I see her having no shortage of enemies. She's very strong-willed and opinionated, and doesn't hesitate to throw punches if she has to. Anyone with prejudices will also be instantly on her hate list, because she doesn't stand for that at all. I'm sure there will also be guys that don't like her because she flirted (or more) with their girlfriends/sister/whatever, so there's that too. There's plenty of reasons for someone to be her enemy, so let me know what ideas you've got here! When it comes to lovers, Reggie is exclusively about ladies. Sorry, guys, but she's just not interested. Relationships aren't her thing, so I don't see her getting into anything serious, but it could happen! (It'd have to go slow, though, because she's still not over her ex.) One night stands and friends with benefits could be a thing, and she mentioned she's got a few girls that model for her that she sleeps with sometimes, so if you've got a girl you think could fit there, let me know! As used to questions about her name as she is, they still annoy her, so try to refrain from asking. :3 She's a swimmer on the Brunswick High School swim team, and is actually kind of the star of the team. She's a very talented swimmer, but to add to the talent, she's devoted and determined to win more gold medals than anyone else ever has. (Beating the record Michael Phelps set is her goal in life.) It's looking like she'll have a chance at that, but that's only if she can keep everything together. Between getting to know her biological brother, and keeping things together with her adopted family, she's got her hands full. Like everyone else, though, she needs friends. I imagine a lot of these will be swimmers, just because they'll have more opportunities to spend time together. Her schedule can be very difficult, and she barely has time to sleep, let alone socialize, so friends of hers have to be understanding about that. They also need to understand that she is highly competitive, and that nothing will deter her from her goals, so it's best not to doubt her, or you're going to make her very angry. Which brings us to enemies! Most enemies for her, I think, will be either competition, or people who have doubted her in the past. Stevie refuses to admit defeat when it comes to swimming, and only trains even harder after a loss, so I'm sure there will be people who find her single-minded obsession on winning annoying. And, of course, she has an awful ego and receives blatant favoritism from the swim coach, so that's another reason for someone to be her enemy. I'm all open for plots here! When it comes to lovers, though, I'm afraid not much will happen. I do have a plot requested for some drama, but I really don't think it'll end with Stevie in a relationship. She's too focused on winning medals and breaking records to be in a relationship, so boys can try, but she's not willing to put up with much before she'll snap. okay so excuse me while i fangirl over cash. XD liam and cash should be friends. because... nerds. and writers. 5eva. yeahhhh. anyway. liam is also a writer, though not a very ambitious one and he kinda just keeps his scribblings to himself because he doesn't think he's good enough. he's an english major and he works in a bookstore. i'm going to assume he has a passing familiarity with cash's books. has probably read about half of them and thought they were pretty decent. so they should meet somehow and just go for a beer and talk about books and writing and geeky stuff, i dunno. so luke's gonna be getting pretty cuddly with whit, so luke and cash will definitely need to meet at some point, and it will need to be awkward. luke can seem like the brash, obnoxious jock type at first, but once you get to know him you realise he's dumb as a post but also very sweet and really quite innocent. he's no threat to whit, and even if he ever did break her heart, it would be completely accidental. there is not a malicious bone in his body. so as far as their relationship goes, i can see it being awkward but not totally hostile?

luke&chelsea
should be friends. luke gets curious about strangers because he is basically a five year old. when chelsea turned up at high school he'd just be like o.o. he's very friendly so he'd try and make an effort to talk to her (as he does with all new people) and i can just see him asking her loads of questions. he's so ignorant. he would just be all "so south korea is the good korea right? what's k-pop again? etcetera etcetera". he would fill her friend requirements of being nice and fun. and if he thought it was weird that she was pregnant he wouldn't say anything except point out that "dude, omg, so you had sex?" because... five year old. but yeah.

YESSSSS! 1. I love Liam, 2. Cash totally needs some dudes to hang out with so this is perfect. So, one of Cash's favorite topics is writing, whether he's discussing his own or writing he likes. I can totally see him nerding out with Liam over books. XD And when he finds out Liam writes, he'll beg to read his stuff. He loves reading undiscovered writers, because he's a total literary hipster, lol. But he'd encourage him with his writing, and introduce him to his publishing friends. They definitely need to meet and go for a beer. THIS LITERARY BROMANCE WILL BE EXCELLENT. XD

Luke and Cash:
I'm sorry to say this, Cash will hate him at first. XD He's over protective TO THE MAX because he was a playboy as a teenager so he assumes all teenage boys are too, until proven otherwise. There will be a 'shotgun speech' as soon as Whit leaves them alone together, probably something along the lines of 'I write books about killing people. Hurt my little girl and you will find yourself living in one of my books.' XD Once he's started to get to know Luke, though, he'll chill out and probably come to like him. As long as he doesn't do something dumb to hurt Whit, Cash will eventually apologize for his little speech and be nice to him.

Luke and Chelsea:
How long has Luke been in Brunswick? Just wondering if they maybe would have known each other as kids, lol. Anyways, she'd love to be friends with him! She'll be happy to answer his questions, though she may be a little evasive at first. Until her secret comes out, she'll try to avoid going into detail about Kpop and stuff. And him pointing out she'd had sex would probably just make her laugh, like, "yes, that is the way most girls get pregnant." XD

Well Scarlet is a bit of an Ice Queen. She gets wind of a famous young and pregnant pop star? She’s all over that rumour mill, maybe even putting a few of her own here and there. I can’t see them being friends, all things considered. Scar uses people like their candy and I don’t think Chelsea would stand for it. Scar’s no stranger to making enemies with people she’s only ever heard about.

Jer & Chels
Now Jericho on the other hand is a completely different story. He’s a good guy most of the time who likes to poke fun. He’s on the football team and is pretty flirty. He has a girlfriend but he’s mauling over the idea of dumping her because she’s too much of a “goody goody” for him and he’s getting sick of it. He’s an intolerant douche bag though so you can bet he’ll pop a racist joke for shits and giggles not to mention slightly insensitive. He’d try and flirt with her but wind up making an ass of himself I think.

Haha, Chelsea's not exactly making it known that she's a pop star or pregnant, but with the Snitch around, it's only a matter of time before people find out. If Scarlet contributed to the rumor mill, Chelsea would automatically distrust her, and probably come to dislike her easily after that. She would not stand for being used at all, so I do not see them getting along. They could be fun, though. :3

Jericho and Chelsea:
She's got a boyfriend, but she's used to being flirted with, so if he was to flirt with her, she wouldn't be too bothered with it. Now, knowing that he has a girlfriend would make her a little angry about his flirting, but she'd still try to be polite. If he made a racist joke, though, that'd probably be the tipping point for her, switching her from friendly to angry. Chelsea can take a lot of crap, but that is one way to really, really piss her off. If he did end up making an ass of himself, I think she'd ignore him for the most part, and be kind of cold or a little rude if he said something that bothered her.

KARSON & CASH i'm thinking these two would probably know each other? karson's father owns a publishing company and he is the second highest ranking boss working there, so i imagine they could have met at some sort of a convention or something. idk xD but i imagine karson would have enjoyed cash's novels and they could be friends of some sort? karson is also an active, easy going kind of guy so i think they'd get along just swimmingly.

KANOA & NOELLE friends perhaps? kanoa is a generally nice guy but sometimes he comes off as an ass without meaning to. he also tends to break the rules in school a lot and now he has to repeat his senior year because he missed too many days the first time around. he'd be sweet to her and all her siblings. i actually feel like he might enjoy hanging out with her and all the kids xD so yeah, that could be fun.

DEAN & PARIS again, i'm thinking friends. dean majored in architecture while in college, so i think i think that's kind of similar to what paris does? maybe dean could be a guy who tries to drag paris out more. not by going to parties, but like just... being more social or something. idk. i'm failing xD

I think they could be lots of fun, so they should definitely be friends!

Dean and Paris: Friends could work for them! Paris works with architects all the time, so there would be a connection there. And dragging him out to be social would be very good! XD He needs to spend more time around actual people, so I like the idea of Dean making him do that.

Cash + Ash
Ash spends his free times at the bars so perhaps they could be drinking buddies? Ash is kind of arrogant but he’s very outgoing. He’d treat a stranger the same way he’d treat his best friend of twelve years. He’s also got a Spanish accent that he doesn’t bother hiding despite being a nice shade of pasty white.

Chelsea + Ash
Ash would for sure be her friend. Again he gets along easily with people and unless she told him she was pregnant he probably wouldn’t be any the wiser. He’s not really into the whole K-Pop scene so he’d more than less likely have no idea she’s big and famous. He may be flirty but he’s way more on the overly friendly side.

Nell + Ash
She is a good five years younger than he is so I really don’t know what to say here. He’s a waiter at Trattoria, Volunteers at the animal shelter when he can and spends his time either partying or working on his art portfolio. If they were friends he’d probably try and get her to go out more. Have some fun and live a littler rather than getting bombarded by stress. As flirty as Ash is he knows when to draw the line and with a girl under eighteen? He’d just as soon run back to his married lover.

Eevee + Ash
Same age and both in school so I can see a lot more for these two XD Friends perhaps? Ash may have plenty of friends but he only has ten close friends and only five that he trusts with his life. He’s also known around town and has a bit of a reputation that leads him down roads that he absolutely despises. Maybe when she was sleeping around they hooked up once or twice? Maybe he could be your anonymous baby daddy? He may play it safe now but back when he was young and stupid and still emotionally traumatized from his ex lover he wasn’t that kind of guy... What do you think?

Ash and Cash: That sounds great! Cash is pretty much the same way with strangers, because he views strangers as just friends he hasn't met yet. His accent would interest Cash, and if they hung out a bit, he'd probably start using his accent a little more. (Maybe making a joke about comparing the accents 'for science'?)

Ash and Chelsea: I've actually got her in a thread where she's going into labor now, so she won't be pregnant for much longer. XD She's used to people here not knowing her, and would quite honestly be relieved if he had no idea about her fame. Flirting could go way over her head, or just leave her a little flustered and flattered. They sound like they could be fun friends, though! :3

Ash and Nell: Art could be a connection, maybe, because Nell loves using art as a creative outlet when she is getting stressed! (That or baking.) If he tried getting her to go out, she'd do it, but she'd still stick to not drinking and offering to be everyone's designated driver. XD She's not one for flirting anyway, so it'd probably be for the best that he didn't flirt with her. She'd just brush it off with some excuse about having to 'focus on getting into college'.

Ash and Eevee: Friends certainly works for them! Eevee is the same way with friendships, so they'd have a bit in common there. His reputation wouldn't bother her, because she's had reputations of her own before. Hooking up in the past could be great! She was on a bit of a self-destruction tail-spin when she got pregnant, so she wasn't playing it safe at all either. (She feels lucky that getting pregnant is the worst that happened to her.) So, Ash could be her baby daddy! I don't know how/if they'd find out, but maybe she could mention at some point to him that she's not sure who it is, and they talk about having a test done to see if he is?
