| [atrb=border,0,true] mrs. cathy brook  First up we have Mrs. Cathy Brook! She's Nell's mother, and was just barely eighteen when her daughter was born. Because of her pregnancy, she had to drop out of high school, which is a majorly sore subject with her. Within the first five years of her marriage, she had four kids, leading to some people around town to call her 'white trash'. Basically, she got pregnant and it took her from being a happy, All-American teenager, and turned her into a housewife and mother. Her secret, which connects with Nell's, is that she is an alcoholic, and has been having Nell help her hide it for the past six years. Because of their shared secret, they've got a very complicated relationship. More often, it's more of a best friends type relationship than mother and daughter, but it's something Nell doesn't realize bothers her. Things can be difficult for the two of them sometimes, particularly when Mrs. Brook has been drinking. Nell loves her mother, though, and would sooner give up her art than let anyone know her secret. While I've put up Christina Hendricks as her play by, it's pretty open. Amy Adams and Alyson Hannigan are my other suggestions for her, but as long as she's redheaded and believably 35, it's up to you! I mentioned that her first name was Cathy in Nell's app, but it can be changed. (And if you don't change it, you can pick what it's short for, or if she was just named Cathy.) For her job, I had her down as working at a grocery store, which she's been doing for about two years now (since her youngest started school), but it can be changed. If you've got any questions about her, or the rest of the family, please let me know! She's going to be really important to have around for development with Nell, so I'd love for someone to take her! TEMPLATE BY LITTLE BITTY PRETTY ONE @ CAUTION 2.0 mr. brook  Here we've got Mr. Brook, first and middle name open. He's Nell's father, and probably the person she works hardest to protect. Mr. Brook has a heart condition, and is at high risk for several complications with it. (Heart attacks being the one that the doctor has warned them most about.) Nell tries to make sure he eats healthy and avoids stress, to keep from aggravating it, but it doesn't always work. He knows his daughter keeps things from him, but he trusts her to tell her if something big is going on. (Which she does not do. Ever.) His secret is open, but I'd like for it to be something involving his health. (Maybe his condition is worse than he's told anyone?) I would like for him to be the family man his kids think he is, so please, do not make his secret something like an affair. Personality wise, I've been seeing him as pretty much a teddy bear, particularly with his kids. He puts everything into making sure his kids are happy and healthy, and it's not helping with his own health. This worries Nell, but (most) of his other kids don't realize it. (If you want some of his history and some more details about him from Nell's point of view, she talks about him a bit in her app.) Face claim for him is open, as long as he's believably 35 and a former high school football star. (I put Beckham up because I like looking at him.) When he found out his girlfriend was pregnant, he dropped his football scholarship and became a plumber/electrician like his father, so that's got to have some impact on him as a character. As long as you keep the details I've said here, he's really yours to run with. As the third child in the family, Naomi doesn't get quite as much responsibility as Nell or Ned, but she doesn't get off easy either. She's the drama queen out of all the Brook kids, which sometimes drives Nell insane. They don't always get along, even though Nell tries to ignore the things Naomi does to intentionally annoy her. This, of course, only makes her more determined to piss her off. In Nell's app, Nell said that Naomi likes to think they have a rivalry, though they really don't. She also mentioned that Naomi likes to steal her clothes, which is more of a nuisance than anything else. What her reasons are for behaving like that is open, but I think it'd be interesting if it could tie into a secret! (Maybe she's got jealousy issues because she sees how close Nell is with her mom and wishes she was close with her too?) Her secret is open, but please don't make it anything too crazy! For her playby, I'd like Bella Thorne, but I'm open to other suggestions. (Molly Quinn, maybe?) As long as she has red hair and looks like she could be fifteen, just let me know! Her name is changeable, as long as it still starts with a N. (Nina is the other Brook sister, and Ned, Nick, Nathan, and Noah are the boys, as a bit of reference.) Run it by me first, if you do want to change it, please. Her middle name is totally open. :3 I'd love for someone to take her, to bring some drama into Nell's life. (Her member group would be high school kids, and she's a freshman.) TEMPLATE BY LITTLE BITTY PRETTY ONE @ CAUTION 2.0  TAKEN BY SETH This guy is Ned Brook, Nell's brother who is fourteen months younger than her. Yeah, that's a pretty small age difference. (It makes him sixteen, as a note!) He's the second child in the family, and pretty much a pain in Nell's neck a lot of the time. When she really needs his help, though, he always pulls through. I don't have a lot in mind for Ned! I do kinda picture him to be a contrast to Nell. Far less self-sacrificing, but just as loving in regards to their family. I mentioned (in either her app or one of the four other versions of it I wrote) that she's got to threaten him with a bucket of ice water to wake up at least a few mornings each week, so I picture him as being a little less responsible than she is. Not so much so that he gets into a lot of trouble, just enough that they bicker sometimes. For his playby, I'd like Caleb Landry Jones, but I'm not picky. Any red haired guy who's believably 16 will work! His name can be changed, as long as it starts with a N. (Naomi, Nick, Nathan, Noah, and Nina are his younger siblings.) His middle name is open, and he can even prefer going by it, if you'd like! I would love for someone to take him, and make him their own.
